Dr. Ulrich KORTZ is Hired as Provincial Chair Professor by HENU
Dr. Ulrich KORTZ from Germany was hired as the provincial Chair Professor of Inorganic Chemistry by HENU on December 9. ZHAO Guoxiang, Executive Vice President, issued the letter of appointment for Dr. Ulrich KORTZ who became the first provincial professor of HENU.

On behalf of HENU, ZHAO Guoxiang expressed warm welcome and thanks to Professor Ulrich KORTZ. He said that HENU would do everything possible to provide comfortable working and living conditions for Dr. Ulrich KORTZ. Ulrich KORTZ stated in his speech that he was very pleased to get employed by HENU and expected greater achievements in future cooperation by two sides.
The Education Department of Henan Province had carried out a new professor employment system for universities since 2012, with positions of Distinguished Professor and Chair Professor for recruitment at home and abroad.
Ulrich KORTZ, Professor of Jacobs University Bremen in Germany, obtained his doctorate from Georgetown University in United States in 1995. He is the academic leader in Germany in the field of inorganic chemistry and multi-acid chemistry, as well as the leading figure throughout Europe and the world.
