GAUN Aihe Pays Visit to Italy & Israel Universities

From October 28th to November 4th, at the invitation of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Italy, Fabriano Musicians Art Institute and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), a delegation of 6 people led by HENU Chancellor GAUN Aihe visited colleges and universities in Italy and Israel.

During the visit to Italy, the delegation met with responsible persons of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Fabriano Musicians Art Institute and Università Politecnica delle Marche. GUAN Aihe met with vice president (foreign affairs) Pietro TONUTTI of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. The two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on majors of law, economics and other fields. GUAN Aihe visited the piano museum and opera theater of Fabriano Musicians Art Institute, and reached a cooperation intention on teacher’s visit, cooperation performance and masters’ joint training. Fabriano mayor Giancarlo SAGRAMOLA met with GUAN Aihe and expressed congratulations on the reached cooperation intention. GUAN Aihe also talked with vice president (foreign affairs) Mario GIORDANO of Università Politecnica delle Marche.

During the visit to Israel, the delegation visited Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Ariel University and Bar-Ilan University. GUAN Aihe said that HENU wanted to seek cooperation with Israeli Universities in the field of Israel and Jewish studies depending on “Judaic-Israeli Studies of Henan University”, and hoped that Israeli Universities could accept HENU teachers and students to come to study and appointed professors to give lectures and carry out cooperative research in HENU. Israeli Universities gave a positive response to GUAN Aihe’s proposal. HENU respectively signed cooperation agreements with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Ariel University, and reached a consensus on the cooperation in the field of Jewish studies. Carice WITT, chairman of SIGNAL, made a special trip to accompany GUAN Aihe to visit Ariel University and Bar-Ilan University. The two sides entered into negotiation on further cooperation matters and reached a consensus.

During the visit, GUAN Aihe visited HENU teachers and students in Italy and Israel.
