Delegation Headed by the Eastern Finland Province Governor Ms. Elle ATONIN Visits HENU

A delegation from Eastern Finland Province, which was led by Ms. Elle ATONIN, governor of Eastern Finland Province, Finland, paid a visit to Henan University. HENU president LOU Yuangong met with the delegation.

On behalf of the Henan University, LOU Yuangong first welcomed the old and new friends from Eastern Finland Province. He introduced the basic situation of HENU, focusing on the determination and efforts to implement the “opening and driving” strategy, and wishing that the colleges and universities in Eastern Finland Province and HENU can carry out effective cooperation in teaching and scientific research.

Ms. Elle ATONIN introduced Eastern Finland Province, and expressed good wishes to cooperate with HENU. Ms. Beriu HEATH from University of Helsinki in Finland introduced the results of research in the field of organic food and other related disciplines in the University of Helsinki. Mr. Ponti MUSTARAMPi, director of Aalto University Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Center, wished to carry out communications between teachers and students with HENU and exchange in teachers’ visiting and students practice. WAN Shiqiang, dean of HENU College of Life Science, SONG Bingtao, dean of HENU School of Economies, and the responsible persons from Key Laboratory of Natural Drugs and Immune Engineering communicated with the delegation about the details of cooperation.
