SONG Chunpeng Visits Universities in Australia

HENU vice president SONG Chunpeng, at the invitation of Macquarie University and The University of Queensland, visited the two universities and conducted academic exchanges.

At Macquarie University (MU), SONG Chunpeng visited its School of Medicine and clinical hospital, library, science and technology business park and School of Business. He also conducted consultations and exchanges with MU vice president Prof. Jim LEE and School of Medicine vice president Roger CHUNG on united construction of HENU & MU International Joint Laboratory, the instruction of scientific research team, the construction of HENU & MU Biomedical Research Center, doctoral students’ joint training, undergraduates’ exchange training, exchange visits of outstanding scientific research personnel and management personnel and other aspects.

On August 20th, SONG Chunpeng visited The University of Queensland School of Agriculture and Food Science, and made an academic report. In the laboratory of Prof. Jose BOTELLA, the development of agricultural biotechnology was discussed, especially the international frontier of progress of crop disease resistance and stress resistance.
