LOU Yuangong Meets Guests from Belarusian State University of Physical Education

A delegation of three led by Ryhor KASIACHENK, President of Belarusian State University of Physical Education (BSUPE), visited HENU on October 14 and 15.

President LOU Yuangong met the guests from BSUPE on October 15. Recalling his visit to BSUPE in July last year, LOU expressed his gratitude to the guests for their warm reception. He said that HENU had celebrated its centennial year in 2012 and was high-spirited moving forward for a new century. With a strong desire of open education, HENU had established international cooperation and exchange with more than 100 foreign universities. HENU was willing to conduct high-level cooperation with BSUPE in research and personnel training.

KASIACHENK said that he was willing to establish all-round cooperation with HENU and to strengthen the cooperation in fields such as high-end sports personnel training, faculty exchange, scientific research and academic information, and traditional cultural exchange. The collaborative projects would be carried out effectively. After the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation.

On the afternoon of October 15, the guests observed the teaching in Physical Education College of HENU and held talks with teachers.

Founded in 1937, BSUPE is an important training base in Belarus to cultivate sports talents. In recent years, more than 160 students have won the championship in the world and European sports events.
